Dorper Wind Farm introduces the Inkqwithelo Zotshintsho (Winds of Change) Bursary Scheme

Dorper Wind Farm have recently introduced a new bursary scheme (The Inkqwithelo Zotshintsho Bursary Scheme), which is specifically aimed at school leavers and 2nd year tertiary education students in the communities of Sterkstroom and Molteno requiring assistance to further their studies. The bursary scheme was introduced for the first time for students entering into the 2017 academic year and forms part of the Socio-economic Development initiative that Dorper Wind Farm has committed to within both of the communities.

For 2017 there have been 10 successful beneficiaries that have been awarded with bursaries covering all registration fees, tuition, accommodation and books. Each one of the beneficiaries have selected a field of study at an institute of higher learning appropriate for their chosen career paths. The location of these institutes are widely spread and include Eastern Cape, Western Cape and KZN.

Dorper Wind Farm wishes each of these beneficiaries all the very best with their studies in the year ahead and encourages them to make the best of the opportunity that they have been presented with.

The bursary scheme will be ongoing and applications will once again be opened mid-2017. For further information relating to the bursaries offered contact:
